It’s that spooky time of year again- a great time of year when the leaves change, pumpkins grow, and nights turn cool and crisp.

Astrobotany.com wants to wish everyone a safe and happy Halloween, and celebrate the fact that this month, October 2018, yielded our highest amount of visitors to the site.  That’s over 900 users exploring the awesome field of spaceflight plant biology.  Recent exciting developments included the plan to grow hemp in space, as well as a new plant hormone that could help plants better grow in microgravity.

I stumbled upon an awesome article called The Largest Pumpkins Will Come From Space.  It’s a fun read and perfect for the season.

Let’s grow pumpkins in space!
