  • Analysis: Praxideke ‘Prax’ Meng is the Chief Botanist on Ganymede, Jupiter’s largest moon.  He is in charge of a soy farm that feeds the station’s inhabitants.  He is deeply committed to and strongly identifies with his work- much like farmers on Earth.  His management of the astrobotanical farms on Ganymede are critical for the survival of humans living in space.
