- Analysis: WALL-E is a popular animated science fiction film that tackles some pretty serious topics in an endearing way. Although astrobotany is only one of many concepts the film touches on- the notion that a single plant represents hope for the revival of Earth resonates strongly. With an uncertain future ahead, astrobotany represents hope that one day we too will figure out a way to protect our planet and solar system.
